Welcome to My Trail Ends:
END OF LIFE RESOURCES
Spiritual | Practical
END OF LIFE RESOURCES
Spiritual | Practical
Once upon a time we buried our dead, and held each other in sacred community. We must find our way back, and so to that end please join us in donating fabric as we construct a ceremonial cloth to lay our burdens down on to. This cloth will become a sacred object, charmed with the community we are building.
We, at “My Trail Ends”, have the intention of providing sacred support when your trail, here on earth, as a human, ends. This newly forming non-profit center, offers doula services, grief education and counseling, ceremonies, weekly discussions and occasional workshops on death and dying. We will take a practical and spiritual approach as we honor the sacredness of giving up your earth suit, and beginning a new trail…
About the name: It makes me smile. As a kid growing up, my family was blessed with a camp on a lake in Maine. It was a place, where we could and would commune with Mother Nature and lay our burdens down, with swimming, running through the woods, fishing, singing in the big lawn swing, row boat adventures in the swamp, looking for turtles and frogs, etc. It was ‘heaven on earth.’ Above the door hung the name, ‘Trails End’.
Now, at ‘My Trail Ends’, you can lay your burdens down, as we support you in organizing your affairs before death happens. We can have adventurous discussions about life after life, share songs, and creative ideas for ceremonies, surrounding the big event that all humans will experience.
